Mrs. Boise Angelina Garcia was asked to be one of three judges for this event. Angelina judged the adult and teen category. The above picture was awarded first place in the adult category. This gingerbread house had so much intricate detail the shingles were made out of andes mints cut in half. It was amazing to see this gingerbread house of perfection!
Mrs. Boise standing with Volunteer Vice President Teresa. The staff and volunteers were at the Boise center on the Grove at 7 am and some worked almost up to the start of the Gala at 6 pm. 
One of my favorites a gingerbread treehouse. I awarded this 2nd place definitely an "original". A small admirer is pointing inside of the gingerbread house where there is a christmas tree and and other small gingery items.
